MILILANI, HI – Today, Servpac Inc. announced it has received official Tier IV Design accreditation by the Uptime Institute. The accreditation is the first of its kind in Hawaii, making MTP Data Center the only Tier certified data center in the State.
In order to receive design accreditation, data centers must go through a rigorous audit of design elements including mechanical, electrical, structural and site elements. Tier IV is the top level of recognition a data center can receive and is based on the highest level of availability and reliability.
“We are so proud to receive our Tier IV Design accreditation from the Uptime Institute. It is affirmation that MTP Data Center is undoubtedly the ideal choice for organizations to house their mission critical data,” says Richard Zheng, President of Servpac. “Our investment in the State’s digital landscape didn’t just start and stop with the idea of building a data center. We wanted to build the best data center. We didn’t cut corners, or just aim at a lower level of accreditation. We aimed for the highest level.”
MTP Data Center by Servpac boasts a 99.999% guaranteed uptime. The facility’s Tier IV topology adds a no fault tolerance design model which means when a piece of equipment fails, or there is an interruption in the distribution path, IT operations will not be affected.
